Stock Market Update: Stocks That Hit 52-week Highs On NSE In Today's Trade.

 NEW DELHI: Shares of Future Enterprises (DVR), SEL Manufact, Mangalam Global Ent, Sezal Glass and Bombay Metrics Supply Chain Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 252.7 points down at 16245.35 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Laxmi Cotspin, Jubilant Food, Indigo Paints Ltd., Motherson Sumi and Star Health, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 9 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 40 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Dr. Reddys, ITC, Tech Mahindra, UltraTech Cem. And Sun Pharma were among top gainers during the day, while Titan Company, Asian Paints, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Hero MotoCorp ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 768.87 points down at 54333.81.

Traders piled up positions in Tobacco, Telecommunications, Industrial Equipment, Miscellaneous and IT - Hardware sectors, while selling was witnessed in Industrial Consumables, IT Enabled Services, Construction, Irrigation & Allied Services and Aquaculture sectors during the day.
