Redmi 10C has been quietly launched in Nigeria as the latest model by the Chinese tech giant. The newly launched smartphone is a successor of the Redmi 9C which was launched in Malaysia back in 2020. The new Xiaomi handset is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC. Redmi 10C comes with a water drop-style notch display at the front to house the selfie shooter. On the other hand, the smartphone features a square-shaped rear camera module along with an LED flash.

Xiaomi Nigeria took to Twitter to announce the launch of the Redmi 10C in the country. The handset is currently not listed on Xiaomi’s official website in Nigeria.

Redmi 10C Key Specifications

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Redmi 10C comes with a 6.71” display with a water drop-style notch. Under the hood, the handset packs the Snapdragon 680 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. The phone runs on the dated Android 11 OS but has the latest MIUI 13 skin out of the box.

On the imaging front, the Redmi 10C features a dual rear camera setup on the back, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. It has a 5MP sensor on the front for selfies and video chats. Earlier reports suggest that the new Redmi 10C is expected to be launched in India as the rebranded Redmi 10 handset.

The Redmi 10C packs a 5000mAh battery but will be aided by a rather slow-charging 10W adapter in the box. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
