Redmi 10C Debuts With Snapdragon 680 SoC; A Rebranded Variant Will Soon Launch In India

 Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi is not ready to leave the 10 series behind as it has added one more device to the lineup. The company launched the Redmi 10 2022 model which is said to be releasing in India and it has been launched in Nigeria as Redmi 10C. However, both these devices pack different specifications in terms of camera and display but if you are looking for better performance then Redmi 10 will be a perfect handset for you.

Redmi 10C: Specifications

The newly launched Redmi 10C features a 6.71 inch LCD display with a screen resolution of 1500 x 720 pixels and a water drop notch for the front camera. This device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, coupled with up to 4 GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128 GB expandable onboard storage.

Under the hood, the Redmi 10C is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with just 10 W charging support. A lot of smartphones are now coming with 100 W+ charging support this year while the Redmi 10C just has a 10 W charging facility to offer.

For optics, the Redmi 10C has a 50 megapixel camera sensor at the back with a 2 megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it has a 5 megapixel camera sensor for selfies and video calls.

Redmi 10C: Price and availability

The all-new Redmi Note 10C is priced at NGN 78,000 which is roughly Rs 14,235 in Indian currency for the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage capacity while the 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage capacity variant costs NGN 87,000 which is roughly Rs 15,884 in Indian currency. This device is available in Nigeria in Blue, Green and Black colour options.

This device is rumored to launch in other markets including India as Redmi 10 smartphone.
